My stay at Roxford Lodge was truly relaxing. The staff were super friendly, and my room was modern and clean, complete with a lovely patio door leading to a shared courtyard. However, I felt the temperature controls could've been better since my room was a bit warmer than I'd prefer. Overall, it was a good experience.
Rooms

The room was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped. It even had features like a jacuzzi and drinking water tap. However, the size was a bit smaller than I expected, making it a tad cramped for two people.

The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and close to public transport. It was located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood, which added to the charm.

My stay at Roxford Lodge Hotel was quite a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, with easy access to public transport and major attractions. However, there were some hiccups in service that left a sour note. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the check-in experience was less than ideal.

The room I had was extremely clean and cozy, featuring modern amenities like a smart TV and heated bathroom floors. I appreciated having a bar fridge and complimentary drinks available.
Service

While most staff were friendly and accommodating, the check-in process was frustratingly inefficient. I encountered some confusion regarding parking and room arrangements that could have been handled better.

The location was perfect for exploring Dublin, with a bus stop right outside and a short walk to the city center. It was situated in a peaceful area, away from noisy nightlife yet close to great eateries.

I found some good and bad aspects during my stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, the room was cramped and the bathroom design was a huge letdown, making it quite uncomfortable for my stay.
Rooms

My room was cramped with a lot of unnecessary furniture, making it hard to move around. The bathroom design was particularly terrible, with limited space and poor accessibility.

The hotel's location was convenient; I could easily walk or take a bus into the city center without too much hassle, which was a plus.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight, with a tasty full Irish option that I thoroughly enjoyed, though I wished there were more variety in the offerings.
Facilities

The amenities were decent, but the room's sauna took up valuable space that could have been used for storage.

My stay at the Roxford Lodge Hotel was quite lovely, although I felt it leaned more towards a B&B vibe rather than a full hotel. The Victorian architecture certainly added charm and character to the place, but I was a bit uneasy about the locked terrace access without a fire escape plan. Overall, it was comfortable and clean, with great amenities, though breakfast pricing felt a bit steep for my simple preferences.
Rooms

My triple room was spacious with three single beds, a pleasant surprise for me and my daughters. I loved the two TVs, well-maintained amenities, and the luxury of having complementary drinking water. The ambient heating and the comfort of the beds made me feel right at home.
Service

The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. They provided a smartphone for navigating Dublin, which was incredibly helpful and a nice touch that alleviated roaming charge concerns.

The hotel's location was perfect for our trip to the RDS, just a short ten-minute walk away. The bus stop right outside was also convenient, although I did experience a bit of a mix-up with the bus driver on the way down.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had some great options, though I found the pricing a bit high for just toast and beans. The food itself was well-prepared, and the atmosphere during serving was inviting, but I'd likely opt for dining elsewhere on my next visit.

I appreciated the modern amenities, such as a Nespresso machine and a waterfall shower. The hotel was clean and well-equipped, providing a pleasant environment to unwind.

I had an awesome stay at Roxford Lodge Hotel! The cozy townhouse I was upgraded to was perfect for my family, with plenty of space and a kitchen stocked with essentials. We really loved the quiet location, just a lovely stroll from the city center. However, the parking was a bit tight, especially when all the spots were taken. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for families looking for comfort and convenience in Dublin.
